Abstract
Ein Speiser für Gußstücke, insbesondere ausGußeisen, hat eine zylinderartige Haube aus einer exothermen Heizmasse, die das im Speiser befindliche Gießgut bis zur Beendigung des Nachsaugens durch den zu speisenden Gußstückbereich flüssig hält und bis zur Anschnittfläche des Speisers reicht. Das Volumen des Speisers entspricht der Größe des Nachsaugvolumens zuzüglich eines maximalen Sicherheitsbetrages von 30% des Nachsaugvolumens. Um insbesondere bei langgestreckten oder hohlzylinderartigen Werkstücken mit einem einzigen Speiser auszukommen, ist die Länge (L) der Anschnittfläche (6) des Speisers mehr als das Doppelte der durchschnittlichen Breite (B) der Anschnittfläche. Der erfindungsgemäß ausgebildete Speiser kann der Gestalt des zu gießenden Werkstückes angepasst werden, wodurch der Lunkerbildung entgegengewirkt wird. Die im Verhältnis zur Länge schmale Anschnittfläche des Speisers kann mehreckig, insbesondere rechteckig oder ringförmig, ausgebildet sein, wobei sich die durchschnittliche Breite aus dem Quotienten der Grundfläche des zu gießenden Werkstückes in Gießlage und der größten Erstreckung in gerader Richtung bei einem Mehreck bzw. der Größenerstreckung auf einem Kreis bei einem hohlzylinderförmigen Gießkörper errechnet.The object of the present invention is to make do with a single feeder, in particular in the case of elongated or hollow cylindrical workpieces. Ein Gußstück 1 ist in eine Sandform 2 eingebettet. Auf diese ist eine zylinderförmige Haube 3 aufgesetzt, die aus einer exothermen Heizmasse besteht.
