Abstract
L'invention concerne un boitier pour le stockage sous eau d'assemblages combustibles. The invention relates to a case for storage under fuel assembly water.
Il comporte une enveloppe métallique parallélépipé dique revêtue extèrieurement d'une matière absorbant les neutrons. L'épaisseur de l'enveloppe métallique est comprise entre 1,5 et 2,5 mm et l'épaisseur du revêtement est au plus égale à 2 mm. La masse de carbure de bore par cm2 de surface du boitier est supérieure à 0.146 g. Le revêtement peut être obtenu par projection au chalumeau plasma de grains de carbure de bore entièrement enrobés dans du nickel ou par dépôt gravitaire de carbure de bore fixé sur le boitier par dépôt électrolytique ou chimique de nickel.
