Abstract

La presente invención está dirigida a mutaciones en el gen DGAT1 que tienen como resultado un perfil lácteo, tisular y/o de la velocidad de crecimiento favorable en los animales portadores de estas mutaciones. La presente invención está igualmente dirigida a los métodos para la identificación de los animales portadores de las mutaciones con la finalidad de facilitar la selección de los animales con alteraciones en las características de la leche, el tejido y/o la velocidad de crecimiento.
