Description

The present invention relates to an arranging apparatus for arranging a delivery unit, as well as a arranging system with a arranging apparatus according to the invention. Moreover, the present invention relates to a method for arranging a delivery unit by means of the arranging system according to the invention.
Frequently, a delivery service is used to deliver food, in particular in service companies and to provide food for elderly persons. The delivery order is usually initiated by telephone or another way at the delivery service. At an agreed time, the food delivery is handed over to the recipient, generally in a suitable packaging. If this person is not present at the agreed delivery address, the delivery is frequently handed over to other individuals such as neighbors.
This system is not restricted to just food deliveries; rather, it is increasingly also used for orders initiated on the Internet.
The disadvantage of this system is inter alia that either the recipient must be present at the time of the delivery at the delivery address in order to receive and secure the delivery, or third parties must be involved in the delivery process.
The object of the present invention is therefore to provide an arranging apparatus and a arranging system for arranging a delivery unit, as well as a method for arranging a delivery unit by means of which deliveries can be delivered to a delivery address in an easy, economical, flexible and safe manner. WO 2013/049 063 A1 teaches an apparatus for securing a theft-proof receptacle in the form of a bag. To this end, the apparatus comprises a closing mechanism on the bag. The bag is secured with a cord which is guided through a holder and through the locking mechanism so that the bag is securely connected to the holder by the cord.
This object is achieved by the arranging apparatus according to claim 1, by the arranging system according to the invention according to claim 9, and the method according to the invention for arranging a delivery unit according to claim 10. Advantageous embodiments of the arranging apparatus are presented in the dependent claims 2 to 8. An advantageous embodiment of the method for arranging a delivery unit is presented in claim 11.
The arranging apparatus according to the invention is for supplying a delivery unit, wherein the arranging apparatus comprises a connection apparatus for mechanically securing the delivery unit and has a first form element which is mechanically connectible and/or connected in a form- and/or force-fit manner with a substantially positionally secured fixing element. The connection apparatus can be or is operationally connected with the fixing element such that the connection apparatus and the fixing element together form a blocking unit, the opening of which requires proof of access authorization. Moreover, the arranging apparatus according to the invention comprises a delivery unit which is or can be mechanically connected with the connection apparatus, wherein the connection apparatus has a second form clement for realizing a force- and/or form-fitting connection to the delivery unit to be secured.
The second form element is designed as a grommet.
The arranging apparatus furthermore has a connecting element for realizing a mechanical connection between the delivery unit and the connection apparatus, wherein the connection element is a cord with at least one loop arranged on an end.
The loop is pulled through the grommet, and the cord is pulled through this loop.
The proof of access authorization can be provided by a mechanical or electronic key. The delivery unit can, in particular, be a receptacle that is suitable for receiving foods. The fixing element can, for example, be a house or apartment door, a mailbox or respectively its door, or also an element on a garden gate, or respectively garden fence. In the embodiment as a door, the fixing element is positionally secured such that the door can swing, but is however secured against unauthorized removal. It is rccommcndablc to design the cord as a wire cord. The loop of the cord should be large enough for the connection apparatus to be insertable through this loop.
In the envisioned arrangement of the connection apparatus in a door gap, or respectively in a mailbox slot, the second form element should preferably be a grommet that, for example, can run parallel to a middle part of a connection apparatus designed as a U-profile.
In the envisioned arrangement of the connection apparatus as a closablc unit on a garden gate, or respectively garden fence, the connection apparatus can also have the second form element, wherein it is, however, not necessarily provided.
The connection between the connection apparatus and the connection element can be easily made manually, even when the connection apparatus is fixed on the fixing element, i.e., by inserting the loop through the grommet and then threading the cord through the loop. However, this requires a free end of the cord. The grommet is, in the broadest sense, an opening in the connection apparatus and is not necessarily restricted to a ring shape. An easy and economical connection between the connection apparatus and connection element can thereby be realized.
The advantage of the arranging apparatus according to invention is, in particular, that only an authorized person can open the blocking unit by demonstrating access authorization, and can accordingly move the connection apparatus and remove the delivery unit from the fixing element in order to take complete possession of the delivery unit.
In an advantageous embodiment, the connection apparatus has a first form element which is arrangeable or arranged in a form- and/or force-fitting manner on a door leaf such that at least the translatory degree of freedom perpendicular to the door leaf plane is taken from the connection apparatus when the door is closed. In this embodiment, the fixing apparatus is accordingly the door that forms the blocking unit together with the connection apparatus. Only the person who has a key to the door is able to remove the delivery unit from the blocking unit, i.e., by opening the door. The arranging apparatus accordingly serves to supply the delivery unit in the proximity of a door, in particular an apartment door, for example for delivering food when the recipient is not at the delivery address. The first form element of the connection apparatus prevents the connection apparatus from being removed from the door leaf when the door is closed. This secures the connection apparatus in its position from unauthorized removal. Only an authorized person who has a key to the door and can open it can accordingly also separate the connection apparatus from the door. Accordingly, only this person can take possession of the secured delivery unit connected to the connection apparatus. Another favorable embodiment of the connection apparatus is when it is also blocked in its rotary degree of freedom about the door leaf edge against which the connection apparatus lies, and is blocked in the rotary degree of freedom about the axis running in the plane of the door leaf perpendicular to this door leaf edge. Preferably, the two translatory degrees of freedom and all rotary degrees of freedom should be taken from the connection apparatus, wherein a translation of the connection apparatus along an edge of the door leaf in the door leaf plane is permissible. That is, when the connection apparatus is placed against the door leaf and the door is closed and the connection apparatus is in the door frame and locked or can be locked, the connection apparatus is preferably prevented from being able to move out of the door leaf plane by a form fit, so that it also cannot be removed by an unauthorized person. If however the door is opened, the connection apparatus in the door leaf plane can be removed from the door and can move separately from the door, so that a delivery unit connected to the connection apparatus can also be moved.
In a preferred embodiment, the first form element of the connection apparatus is substantially adapted to an edge region of the door leaf in a complementary manner. This embodiment relates to a typical door with a substantially flat door leaf, i.e., the edge region of the door leaf is designed with a rectangular cross section so that the first form element of the connection apparatus also forms a rectangular seating region. The first form element of the connection apparatus can mainly have the cross-section of an angle profile, preferably a U-profile, wherein at least one of the legs of the angle profile serves as a blockage element to block the connection apparatus in its movement perpendicular to the door leaf plane.
The blockage element should possess a length that is greater than an average door gap, i.e., a length that is greater than the maximum height of a distance between the bottom edge of a door leaf and the floor underneath, or respectively the threshold underneath. In conventional embodiments, a length of the blockage element between 10 mm and 50 mm should be sufficient.
The angle between the blockage element and a section of the first form element that runs in the door leaf plane and forms a middle part of a U-profile should be a maximum of 120°, wherein however the specific embodiment depends on the width of the door and the door leaf thickness to prevent the connection apparatus from being able to be pulled out of the door gap and/or twisted out. The section of the first form element that runs in the door leaf plane and is designed as a middle part of a U-profile should at least have a length that is greater than the thickness of the door leaf measured perpendicular to the door leaf plane.
As mentioned, the first form element of the connection apparatus can mainly have the cross section of a U-profile, at least in sections, wherein one of the legs of the U-profile is designed as a blockage element. To prevent rotation about an axis running perpendicular to the door leaf plane, the connection apparatus should have a width, at least in the region running in the door leaf plane, that is greater than a typical door gap of apartment doors. That is, the width should be preferably greater than 5 mm, wherein the width dimension is to be measured in the direction of the longitudinal extension of the door gap. Independent of the width of a door gap, the width of the connection apparatus, in its embodiment with a U-profile-shaped section, is accordingly greater than the thickness of the middle part of the U-profile.
In another design version, the connection apparatus has a first form element which is arrangeable or arranged in a form- and/or force-fitting manner in a slot of a mailbox such that at least the translatory degree of freedom perpendicular to the plane in which the mailbox slot extends is taken from the connection apparatus when the mailbox is closed. This blockage of the translatory degree of freedom can, for example, be achieved in that the connection apparatus has a corresponding length of a section located behind the mailbox slot. In this embodiment, the fixing apparatus is the mailbox door in which the slot is arranged and that forms the blocking unit together with the connection apparatus. Only the person who has a key to the mailbox is able to remove the delivery unit from the mailbox, i.c., by opening the mailbox door and exposing the connection apparatus. The arranging apparatus according to the invention serves to supply the delivery unit in the proximity of a mailbox.
In this design version as well, the rotation about the mailbox slot edge against which the connection apparatus lies is taken from the connection apparatus, and the rotation is blocked about an axis running in the plane of the door of the mailbox perpendicular to this mailbox slot edge. In a useful embodiment, two translatory degrees of freedom and all rotary degrees of freedom are taken from the connection apparatus in this case as well, wherein only one translation is permissible of the connection apparatus along an edge of the slot of the mailbox in the plane of the door of the mailbox. It is assumed that the door of the mailbox is located in a mailbox frame and is or can be locked there. By opening the mailbox door, the connection apparatus can be separated so that it can be removed from the mailbox together with the delivery unit connected thereto.
In a third design version, the connection apparatus can be locked and unlocked and has a first form element that can be or is connected in a form- and/or force-fitting manner to an element of a garden gate or garden fence such that the connection apparatus is fixed in a locked state to the garden gate, or respectively garden fence. That is, the connection apparatus can be opened and closed. Because the connection apparatus cannot be removed from the garden gate, or respectively garden fence, in a locked state, the delivery unit that is mechanically connected to the connection apparatus also cannot be removed. In this design version, the fixing apparatus is the garden gate, or respectively garden fence, that forms the blocking unit together with the connection apparatus. Only the person who has a key to the connection apparatus is able to remove the connection apparatus and hence also the delivery unit connected thereto, from the garden gate, or respectively garden fence, i.e., by unlocking, or respectively opening the connection apparatus. This connection apparatus can, in particular, be a padlock or a bicycle lock, etc.
The arranging apparatus according to the invention serves both to supply the delivery unit in the proximity of a garden gate, or respectively garden fence, for example to deliver food, when the recipient is not in the garden, or respectively the associated house. Only an authorized person who has a key to the connection apparatus and can open it can separate the connection apparatus from the garden gate, or respectively garden fence. Accordingly, only this person can take possession of the delivery unit connected to the connection apparatus.
In a useful embodiment of the arranging apparatus according to the invention, the connection element is a cord with loops arranged on both ends, wherein a first cord end with the loop arranged thereupon is guided through the grommet of the connection apparatus, and the second loop is secured from being taken away in a force- and/or form-fitting manner by means of a locking apparatus on a form element of the delivery unit.
It is recommendable in this context for the locking apparatus to be a padlock, wherein the second loop of the cord is drawn through a receiving grommet of the delivery unit, and the padlock is hung in the second loop and locked, wherein the maximum clear width of the receiving grommet of the delivery unit is less than the minimum spatial extension of the padlock. Accordingly a delivery person can fasten the cord with the first loop to the connection apparatus and draw the second loop through the grommet of the delivery unit and then secure the cord in this position by hanging the padlock in the second loop and locking it. The cord, or respectively its second loop, cannot be removed from the receiving grommet of the delivery unit so that the delivery unit is mechanically connected by the cord to the connection apparatus. Only the person who can remove the connection apparatus, such as by opening a door in the gap of which the connection apparatus is arranged, is able to undo the mechanical connection between the delivery unit and the door and take possession of the delivery unit.
Furthermore, a preferred embodiment of the invention provides that the delivery unit has a cover and a receptacle, wherein the receiving grommet is arranged on one of the elements of the cover and receptacle, and a complementary part is arranged on the respective other element, which can mainly be fixed in its position, when an object, such as the cord, extends through the receiving grommet. Preferably, the complementary part can pivot about a hinge axis and has a slot through which the receiving grommet can extend such that the receiving grommet and the complementary part form a conventional box latch. After exposing the connection apparatus, the recipient can thread it through the first loop of the cord so that the first loop and the cord can be removed from the connection apparatus, or respectively its first form element. Then the cord can be removed from the receiving grommet of the delivery unit so that the complementary part can be swung away from the receiving grommet. In addition to being able to dispose of the delivery unit, the recipient is simultaneously able to remove the cover from the receptacle and accordingly access the contents of the delivery unit.
The delivery person can accordingly connect the delivery unit at the recipient’s, wherein the recipient does not need a key to open the delivery unit in order to take possession of it and open it. To supply the delivery unit for pickup, the connection apparatus can be reconnected to the fixing element just as described without the recipient needing a key for it. To this end, the cord is pulled through the receiving grommet of the delivery unit, wherein one end is blocked by the closed padlock. The first loop of the cord is pulled through the grommet of the connection apparatus, and then the connection apparatus itself is threaded through this loop. The connection apparatus that is accordingly fastened to the cord can be positioned again in the door gap or in a mailbox gap and be fixed there by closing the respective door. That is, the arranging apparatus according to the invention can be used in particular for deliveries when the recipient is not present at the delivery address, wherein the delivery unit can be easily returned when the recipient is not present at the time for returning the delivery unit.
Another aspect of the present invention is a arranging system that comprises a arranging apparatus according to the invention and a fixing element which is operationally connected with the connection apparatus of the arranging apparatus such that the connection apparatus and the fixing clement together form a blocking unit, the opening of which requires proof of access authorization. The fixing apparatus can, for example, be a door such as an apartment door, a mailbox door with a slot, or a garden gate, or respectively a garden fence.
The bottom side of the connection apparatus should preferably have a coating, or respectively consist of a material that together with wood, rock and/or linoleum, has a low friction coefficient such as a felt layer. The delivery unit can consist of a suitable and preferably light material such as plastic, styrofoam, wood or cardboard, wherein however embodiments consisting of steel and sheet metal, or respectively composite materials are not excluded.
Special embodiments according to the invention also comprise a version in which the connection apparatus is unreleasably connected to the connection element to which a delivery person can connect the delivery unit in the described manner. When a door, or respectively a mailbox, or respectively the connection apparatus itself is opened, the recipient can take possession of the delivery unit.
In another alternative embodiment, the connection element, preferably in the form of a cord, is permanently connected to the lock of the delivery unit, or respectively to the delivery unit. In both of the last-cited versions, the delivery unit is freely available upon opening the door, or respectively the mailbox, or respectively the connection apparatus.
To achieve the object, a method for arranging a delivery unit is also provided in which an arranging system according to the invention is used to mechanically connect a delivery unit by the connection apparatus to the fixing element, wherein a mechanical connection between the connection apparatus and the delivery unit is established. Preferably this method is carried out with an embodiment of the arranging system in which the connection apparatus, as a second form element, has a grommet, and the arranging apparatus has a connection element between the connection apparatus and the delivery unit that is a cord with loops arranged on both ends. In addition, the delivery unit should have a cover and a receptacle, wherein the receiving grommet is arranged on one of the elements of the cover and receptacle, and a complementary part is arranged on the respective other element, which can mainly be fixed in its position, when an object extends through the receiving grommet. To perform the method, a first loop of the cord is inserted through the grommet of the connection apparatus, and the connection element, or respectively cord, is then threaded through the first loop, and the second loop of the cord is pulled through the receiving grommet of the delivery unit, and then a padlock is hung in the second loop and locked. After the delivery unit is fixed in this manner, the recipient can open the door, or respectively the mailbox when the connection apparatus is arranged in a door gap or a mailbox slot, remove the connection apparatus from the gap, or respectively slot region, thread the connection apparatus through the first loop, and then remove the cord from the connection apparatus. Then the cord can also be pulled out of the receiving grommet of the delivery unit so that it is completely movable and can accordingly be carried into an apartment and opened.
When a locking and unlocking connection apparatus is used and arranged on a garden gate or garden fence, the connection apparatus is first unlocked, for example by using a key. A connection element that is connected to the connection apparatus in the form of a cord which for example was connected by the connection apparatus can now be separated from the garden gate, or respectively garden fence and also removed from the receiving grommet of the delivery unit so that the delivery unit and contents are available.
The invention will be explained below with reference to the exemplary embodiments depicted in the accompanying drawings.
In the figures:
Fig. 1 shows an arranging system according to the invention,
Fig. 2 shows a part of an arranging apparatus according to the invention,
Fig. 3 shows a blocking apparatus of an arranging apparatus according to the invention.
To illustrate the general design of an arranging apparatus according to the invention as well as an arranging system according to the invention, first Fig. 1 will be addressed. It can be seen that a connection apparatus 10 is arranged in the door gap 41 below a fixing apparatus 40 that in this case is designed as a door. The connection apparatus 10 in this case is blocked in its translatory degree of freedom 60 running perpendicular to the door leaf plane, as will be explained further with reference to Fig. 2 and 3.
By blocking the translatory degree of freedom 60, the connection apparatus 10 cannot be removed from the fixing element 40 when the fixing element designed as a door is not opened. A first loop 71 that is arranged on an end of a connection element 70 designed as a cord is threaded through a second form element 12 of the connection apparatus 10 designed as a grommet, and the connection element 70 is threaded through this first loop 71. A very simple mechanical connection between the connection element 70 and connection apparatus 10 is thereby realized which can be easily manually disconnected when the connection apparatus 10 is exposed by opening the fixing element 40 designed as a door. To this end, the freed connection apparatus 10 is threaded through the first loop 71 so that the first loop 71 can also be pulled out of the grommet-like second form element 12. Accordingly, the one end of the cord-like connection element 70 is free. At its end opposite the connection apparatus 10, the connection element 70 has a second loop 72 in which a locking apparatus 80, in this case in the form of a padlock, is hung and locked. The connection element 70 runs through a receiving grommet 33 of the delivery unit 30, wherein this receiving unit 33 is arranged on the receptacle 32 of the delivery unit 30. The delivery unit 30 also comprises a cover 31 that covers, or respectively closes the receptacle 32 on which a pivotable complementary part 34 is arranged. The complementary part 34 pivots on the receiving grommet 33 such that together, the receiving grommet 33 and complementary part 34 form a box latch.
The cord-likc connection element 70 runs through the receiving grommet 33 so that the complementary part 34 cannot be pivoted, and the cover 31 is accordingly fixed on the receptacle 32. Since the locking apparatus 80 is hung in the second loop 72 of the connection element 70, the connection element 70 cannot be pulled out of the receiving grommet 33 such that the delivery unit 33 is locked and, in the embodiment shown in Fig. 1, unreleasably connected to this fixing element 42 when the fixing element 40 is closed, and is connected to the connection apparatus 10 connected thereto.
If the connection apparatus 10 is exposed as described and the first loop 71 of the connection element 70 is freed, the connection element 70 can also be removed from the receiving grommet 33 such that the delivery unit 30 is freely movable, and the complementary part 34 can be swung away from the receiver 33, and the cover 31 of the receptacle 32 can be removed such that the recipient can take possession of the contents of the delivery unit 30.
To block the translatory degree of freedom 60, the connection apparatus 10 is equipped with a first form element 11 as depicted in Fig. 2 and 3 that can form a form-fit connection with the door leaf of the fixing element 40. This first form element is preferably an angle profile, in particular a depicted U-profile 20 whose leg facing away from the second form element 12 is designed as a blockage element 21.
As shown in Fig. 3, the connection apparatus 10 can hence be arranged in a door gap 41 so that the U-profile 20 encompasses the edge region of the fixing element 40, wherein the blockage element 21 prevents the movement of the connection apparatus 10 in one direction of the translatory degree of freedom 60, i.e., in the direction of the second form element 12 so that the connection apparatus 10 can only be removed from the fixing element 40 when said fixing element 40 is moved into a position in which the connection apparatus 10 can be removed. In an embodiment of the fixing element 40 as a door, this position is the position of the door outside of the door frame in which the connection element 10 can be easily shoved under the open door, or respectively moved away therefrom.
