Description
HELMET FOR MOTOR CYCLISTS AND FOR THE PEOPLE TAKING PART IN EXTREME ACTIVITIES
Technical Field
The invention relates to personal protection products and specifically helmets, equipped with a built-in recording system and can be used to prevent head injuries to motorcyclists and people taking part in extreme activities, such officers in special groups.
Related Art
Helmets, which includes a rigid housing and equipped with linking elements, and with a recording system, which is installed in the housing, and if the camera lens is provided in the central part of the helmet over the face area and does not project beyond the housing surface, which in the house is built- a power source, a control system, a recording device with built-in memory, a device for connecting an external memory card, and an electrical connection for connecting to external devices and / or to a power grid, are well known and commonly used, see. eg websites
The above-mentioned helmets are hardly suited for motorcyclists, because of their inability to protect the face from the pebble flying out from under the vehicle wheels in front, since the camera lens is provided on the flat end of the housing, which makes it impossible to install a visor. In these helmets are not required by bulletproof glass.
In the prior art, there is no information on a helmet for motorcycle riders, which includes a rigid housing and is provided with attachment elements and padding elements and of a recording system, which is installed in the housing, and if the camera lens is provided in the central part of the helmet above the visor over the edge and does not protrude beyond the housing surface (see. license DE 19542835, class A42B 3/04, published 22.05.1997). The disadvantages of the general layout is the inability of independent operation, because a connection (via cable) to the external recording devices are necessary and because of the complexity of data transfer to external devices.
Summary of the Invention
The main problem to be solved by the invention is the development of a helmet for motorcyclists and the people taking part in extreme activities.
The developed helmet provides for the extension of the functional possibilities of the device with the accomplishment of all the necessary functions, specifically the ability of independent operation and the ability to transfer data to external devices.
In order to solve the above problem contains helmets for motorcyclists and the people taking part in extreme activities, a rigid housing equipped with binding elements and padding elements, bullet-proof glass and a recording system, which is installed in the housing, and if the camera lens is provided in the central part of helmet above the visor over the edge and does not protrude beyond the housing surface. In addition, the recording system to a power source, which is built into the helmet house, an operating system, a recording device with built-in memory, a device for connecting an external memory card and an electrical connection to connect to external devices and / or to a power grid.
The control system can be manufactured with the ability to receive control signals from the remote control. The camera makes it preferably possible to record a video and / or take photos and is equipped with a microphone to record audio signals.
Brief Description of Drawings
The subject matter of the proposed solution is illustrated with drawings.
In Fig. 1 shows a general image of the proposed helmet.
In Fig. 2 - the position of the camera lens.
The proposed helmet comprising a rigid casing 1, which is equipped with two binding elements and padding elements, such as foam rubber. In the housing there are installed a recording system, if the camera lens 3 is provided in the central part of the helmet over the face area and does not project beyond the housing surface. Glass camera lens is built in the central part of the helmet above the visor and the upper edge is protected by a sapphire crystal 4.
The camera allows you to record video and take photos and is equipped with a microphone to record audio signals. Built in the helmet house includes admission system is also a power source, a control system, a recording device with built-in memory, a device for connecting an external memory card and an electrical connection to connect to external devices and / or to a power grid. Via the electrical connection can recording system connected to a computer for subsequent photographic, audio and video processing, to an electricity grid for recharging the battery or to an external monitor display to see direct information on. The control system is contemplated to make it possible to receive control signals from a remote control, which can be fastened on the wearer's clothes. Additionally, in the helmet installed visual indicators of driving state sealed connection (intended to connect a head-mounted display tii a PC for subsequent photographic, audio and video processing), recharge the battery and direct information display via an external TV monitor, external remote control of the entire unit, microphone.
Embodiment of the invention according to the proposed invention was prepared a prototype model (Fig. 1-2). As the helmet there was used a hard hat K-1C from "Special Materials, Inc,". As a recording system, there was used an instrument board camera (professional car camera Full HD), the total items were removed from the standard housing and positioned in the inner part of the helmet.
The camera lens glass was built in the central part of the helmet above the visor and the upper edge protected by a sapphire crystal 4. Recording device with built-in memory is secured from the inner part of the helmet and protected from external inputs. It has the following characteristics:
Knowledge Shoots Full HD, HD, resolution 1920x1080i;
Accumulator battery 1050 mAh;
Fotoopiøsning 16 Mp;
120 ° viewing angle.
A recording cycle is performed with the internal memory or a memory card MicroSD memory space up to 32 GB. The device for connecting an external memory card is arranged in the inner part of the helmet and cushioning between the housing elements.
To turn on the recording system, there was provided a control system in the form of a rocker switch. There are power button and playback button on the rocker switch. In order to work in optageisesmode and photography mode, there is provided a remote control.
To view recordings without connecting to a computer or a TV, it is possible to use a display monitor which may be connected to the recording system via the connection that is possible on the receiving device. A USB 2.o connector is provided on the back of the helmet to recharge the battery and take information from the internal memory or MicroSD card. By taking information via this port increased working hours for Micro-SD card significantly.
Industrial Applicability
All components of the recording system is arranged in such a way that it does not create interference for a person wearing the helmet. The working temperature is from -28 ° C to + 40 ° C. The weight of the recording system without the helmet is 125 grams.
As all elements of the recording system is positioned within the bonnet housing, it will continue to be mobile and convenient to use, and its outer appearance did not change significantly. At the same time makes the availability of multi-functional means for connection to external devices it more compatible with modern equipment.
