Claims (14)
1. A wind turbine tower, comprising a plurality of tower sections arranged one on top of the other, wherein each pair of adjoining tower sections comprises a lower tovrør section with an upper connection portion having a connection surface, and an upper tower section with a lower connection portion , having a connection surface, wherein the upper connection portion and the lower connection portion form an overlapping joint in the pair of adjoining tower sections, wherein in each overlapping joint the connection surface of the upper connection portion and the connection surface of the lower connection portion are arranged to wedgirsgiy engage each other.
2. A wind turbine tower, according to claim 1, wherein the connection surface of the upper connection portion of the lower tower section is an outer surface, and the connection surface of the lower connection portion of the upper tower section is an inner surface.
3. A wind turbine tower according to claim 1, wherein each tower section has the shape of a truncated cone.
4. A wind turbine tovrør according to any of claims 1 to 3, wherein said connection surface of the upper connection portion together with the outer envelope surface of the respective tower section forms a continuous surface,
5. A wind turbine tower according to any of claims 1 to 3 wherein said connection surface of the upper connection portion is recessed in relation to the outer envelope surface of the respective tower section.
6. A wind turbine tower according to any one of the preceding ciaims, wherein each tower section has a circular cross section.

A wind turbine tower according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein In each overlapping joint, the connection surface of the upper con- nedion portion and the connection surface of the lower connection portion are arranged to wedgingly engage each other with an overlapping length at least corresponding to 1.2 to 1,7 and more preferred at least 1,6 times an upper end diameter of the lower tower section.
8-, A wind turbine tower according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein guiding means are provided in the upper and lower connection portions of each tower section.
9. A wind turbine tower according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said guiding means consist of mating recesses and projections.
10. A wind turbine tower according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein said guiding means consist of mating flutes,

A wind turbine tower according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein the connection surface of the lower connection portion of the upper tower section in a pair of adjoining tower sections has an inclination equal to or smaller than an Inclination of the connection surface of the upper connection portion of the lower tower section in relation to a centre axis of the tower in said pair of adjoining tower sections.
12. A wind turbine tower according to any one of the preceding claims, wherein each pair of adjoining tower sections comprises additional means for securing said sections to each other.
13. A method for erecting a wind turbine tower, comprising arranging a plurality of tower sections one on top of the other such that In a pair of adjoining tower sections an overlapping joint is formed by the tower sections, in which overlapping joint said adjoining tower sections wedg-Ingly engage each other,
14. A wind turbine, comprising a wind turbine tower according to any one of claims 1-12.
