Claims (13)

1. Fremgangsmåde til detektering af en enheds binding til et molekyle, hvilket molekyle er bundet til en overflade, hvilken overflade er elektrisk ledende, hvor fremgangsmåden omfatter monitorering af fasen med elektrokemisk impedans på overfladen som en frekvensfunktion, og detektering af ændring som en frekvensfunktion i den monitorerede fase i den elektrokemiske impedans på overfladen som en frekvensfunktion, der indikerer bindingen af enheden til molekylet, hvilken ændring afhænger af koncentrationen af enheden.
2. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1, hvor fasen er monitoreret som en frekvensfunktion mellem 0,1 Hz og 500 kHz.
3. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 1 eller 2, hvor overfladen omfatter en elektrode.
4. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 3, hvor elektroden omfatter metal.
5. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af de foregående krav, hvor molekylet omfatter et polypeptid.
6. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 5, hvor fremgangsmåden endvidere omfatter: (a) tilvejebringelse af en række, der omfatter mindst to elektroder, hvor elektroderne har en eller flere af: (i) en diameter på 100 pm eller mindre, og (ii) en afstand på 100 pm eller mindre; og (b) binding af polypeptidet til mindst én elektrode fra rækken, hvorved overfladen dannes.
7. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6, hvor rækken omfatter mindst 10 individuelt adresserbare elektroder.
8. Fremgangsmåde ifølge krav 6 eller 7, hvor elektroderne har en eller flere af: (i) en diameter på 20 pm eller mindre, og (ii) en afstand på 15 pm eller mindre.
9. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 6 til 8, hvor elektroderne har både (i) og (ii).
10. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 5 til 9, hvor polypeptidet omfatter et scaffoldprotein.
11. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 5 til 10, hvor polypeptidet omfatter en peptidaptamer.
12. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 5 til 11, hvor polypeptidet er bundet til elektroden ved hjælp af en thiolbinding.
13. Fremgangsmåde ifølge et hvilket som helst af kravene 1 til 4, hvor molekylet omfatter DNA eller en anden nukleinsyre.
