Abstract

In the hairpiece of the invention the carrier component (100) consists of rods (31, 32, 33) with free ends proceeding from a joining component (30) and delimiting in pairs an intermediate space stretching continuously as far as the free ends of the rods (31, 32, 33). The rods (31, 32, 33) are fitted with hairs either directly or via a holder. The advantage of such a carrier component (100) is that it facilitates the emergence of the user's own hair between the rods (31, 32, 33) and, together with the inserted hair, provides an apparently natural hairstyle.
