Abstract

The seal for cables or pipes passing through ships' bulkheads or decks comprise a sleeve (3) mounted in a frame fitted with a clamp. The sleeve has a central bore (7), along which circular ribs (8) with pointed tips are arranged. These are forced against the cable or pipe by the pressure of the clamp.
