Abstract
The panel, comprising continuous covering layers (1, 2) over polygonal cells (3) formed by perpendicular partitions, has an overall thickness of 4 - 40 mm, and a surface weight of 800 - 4500 g/square m. The ratio between the thickness of the cellular layer and the upper and lower layers is between 0.4 and 1.5 : 1. The panel, comprising continuous covering layers (1, 2) over polygonal cells (3) formed by perpendicular partitions, has an overall thickness of 4 - 40 mm, and especially 7 - 12 mm, and a surface weight of 800 - 4500 and especially 1000 - 2500 g/square m. The ratio between the thickness of the cellular layer and the upper and lower layers is between 0.4 and 1.5 : 1, and especially between 0.6 and 1.2 : 1. The cellular layer and covering layers are extruded simultaneously, with the cellular layer extruded by slits in pivoted extrusion head components providing a periodic change in direction to make the polygonal partitions.
