Abstract

The fluidised bed comprises a conical housing (2) containing a gas-permeable base plate (4), between which a gas distribution chamber (5) is enclosed. The base plate and housing are fastened together by bolts which pass through the housing into rings at the top and bottom of the base plate and bars extending radially along its walls.
