Abstract

The invention concerns a device for setting a film comprising a running frame (2) equipped with two rows of tools (5, 6, 7) consisting in succession from the front towards the rear of the frame (2), a member (5) for opening a trench in the ground, a member (6) for positioning a lateral end of the film in said trench and a member (7) for filling up the trench. Said device is characterised in that the trench-opening members consist respectively of a member equipped with at least a cutting edge arranged to cut the ground substantially vertically when the frame moves forward so as to define, in the ground, a slot forming a trench, said trench-opening members (5) being substantially arranged aligned with the film-positioning members (6) consisting of straight discs with substantially parallel rotating planes. The invention is useful for setting a film for agricultural purposes.
