Abstract

A composition comprises, for successive or simultaneous addition, at least partially masked isocyanate with a Tg of at least = 20 degrees C, advantageously at least 40 degrees C and discharge rate (vis a vis masking agent) of at least 5% at 120 degrees C; and polyol with Tg of at least 40 degrees C, advantageously at least 50 degrees C, hydroxyl index at least 10 mgg<-1>, advantageously at least 15 mgg<-1>, and molecular mass at least 1000, advantageously 2000 gmole<-1>. Also claimed are use of the compound for providing coatings, notably paint; and coating obtained therefrom.
