Abstract

The burner (2) has a feeder for combustion air, feeder for pieces of fuel at first end of the burner and a conveyor moving the fuel towards a second end. The second end has a separator (4) for unburnt out pieces of fuel of a preset minimum size from the fine fuel. A return appliance (7) returns the separated fuel pieces to the first end of the burner, while a post-combustion appliance (5) removes the fine part from the separator .
