Abstract

A package for eggs or similar shock-sensitive objects has a bottom part (30) moulded in a fibrous material and a lid that covers the eggs or similar objects placed in the bottom part. The lid is made of a flat cardboard blank (1, 41, 61, 81) that can be erected and secured to the bottom part (30) along at least one longitudinal side by means of snap-in elements (15, 16, 32).
