Abstract

A window structure for a vehicle, with an outer injected frame structure of PVC etc. projecting from the bodywork, has a channel (6) round it on the side towards the window pane and open to the bodywork metal. After the frame has been injected, the channel is filled with a polyurethane mass, to bond to the pane with an adhesive (11). The polyurethane mass (7) and the bodywork metal (5) are bonded together by an adhesive or inserted strip (9) of polyurethane which is tensed on assembly and pressed together. Also claimed is an appts. for the prodn. of the window assembly with two distance pieces placed against the pane, to be removed after the polyurethane mass (7) has hardened. <IMAGE>
