Abstract

The invention concerns a process for the disposal of glycol-containing liquid wastes, the process comprising a first evaporation stage in which most of the water is distilled off and a second evaporation stage in which the slurry remaining from the first evaporation stage is distilled to separate off most of the glycol, the residue of the second evaporation stage being disposed of as toxic waste.
