Abstract

Process for bleaching chemical cellulose pulps with a view to obtaining absorbent, bleached pulps, without using chlorine. The process for bleaching chemical pulps employs a sequence of different treatments comprising at least one treatment with a bleaching agent not containing chlorine, at least two alkaline treatments and at least one acidic treatment, lasting at least 5 minutes, inserted between the two alkaline treatments.
