Claims (13)

&Egr;&Rgr;-&Agr;-97 918 700.0 &ngr;&thgr; | O 7 O f f Patentansprüche
1. Ein behandelter Artikel, umfassend: ein Polymerbindemittel,
eine Vielheit von Mikrokügelchen, enthaltend ein Phasenaustauschmaterial, und dispergiert durch das Bindemittel unter Herstellen einer Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion, und
ein zuvor gehärtetes Schaumsubstrat mit entgegengesetzten ersten und zweiten Oberflächen und einer offenenen Zellkonfiguration,
wobei die Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion 20% bis 100% des gehärteten Schaumsubstrats durchdringt.
2. Artikel nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Phasenaustauschmaterial ein Paräffinkohlenwasserstoff ist.
3. Artikel nach Anspruch 2, wobei das Substrat ein gespaltener Schaum ist,
4. Artikel nach Anspruch 3, wobei das Bindemittel ein Latexmaterial umfaßt.
5. Artikel nach'Anspruch 3, wobei das gespaltene Schaumsubstrat 90 Mil bis 200 Mil an Dicke beträgt, und die Dispersion 30% bis 60% des gespaltenen Schaumsubstrats durchdringt.
6. Artikel nach Anspruch 1, wobei das Schaumsubstrat 90 Mil bis 1000 Mil an Dicke beträgt, und die Dispersion 30% bis 60% des Schaumsubstrats durchdringt.
7. Verfahren zum Herstellen eines Artikels, umfassend die Stufen von:
zur Verfügung stellen eines zuvor gehärteten Schaumsubstrats mit einer offenen Zellkonfiguration und entgegengesetzten ersten und zweiten Oberflächen, Dispergieren von Mikrokügelchen, welche ein
Phasenaustauschmaterial dispergiert enthalten, in einem nicht gehärteten Polymerbindemittel unter Herstellen einer Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion,
Durchdringen des zuvor gehärteten Schaumsubstrats mit der Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion,
Härten des Polymerbindemittels in der
Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion unter Herstellen eines vollständig gehärteten Schaumartikels, der mindestens teilweise mit der Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen .Dispersion imprägniert ist und besonders angepaßt ist, Wärmeleitfähigkeit über den vollständig gehärteten Schaumartikel zu kontrollieren.
8. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Viskosität des ungehärteten Polymerbindemittels annähernd 500 Centipoise bis annähernd 4000 Centipoise beträgt.
9. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Viskosität des ungehärteten Polymerbindemittels annähernd 1000 Centipoise bis annähernd 1500 Centipoise beträgt.
10. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Viskosität des ungehärteten Polymerbindemittels annähernd 7000 Centipoise bis annähernd 9000 Centipoise beträgt.
11. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei das Verfahren ferner die Stufe umfaßt von:
Aufbringen einer Lage auf mindestens eine der ersten oder zweiten entgegengesetzten Oberflächen.
12. Verfahren nach Anspruch 7, wobei die Viskosität des ungehärteten Polymerbindemittels annähernd 500 Centipoise bis annähernd 4000 Centipoise beträgt, und wobei die Durchdringungsstufe ferner die Stufen umfaßt:
Aufbringen der Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion auf die erste exponierte Oberfläche des Schaumsubstrats und
Ziehen eines Vakuums auf der zweiten exponierten Oberfläche des Schaumsubstrats, bis die Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion mindestens 30% des zuvor gehärteten Schaumsubstrats durchdringt.
13. Kopfleiste für ein Vehikel, wobei die Kopfleiste umfaßt: ein Polymerbindemittel,
eine Vielheit von Mikrokügelchen, enthaltend ein Paraffinkohlenwasserstoffphasenaustauschmaterial, und dispergiert durch das Bindemittel, wodurch eine Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion hergestellt wird,
eine zuvor gehärtete, vernetzte Schaumlage mit entgegengesetzten ersten und zweiten Oberflächen und einer offenen Zellkonfiguration, wobei die Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion 20% bis 100% der Schaumlage durchdringt, und
eine Lage, angefügt an die erste Oberfläche der Schaumlage, eine Kopfleiste dadurch herstellend, wobei die Lage an die erste Oberfläche der Schaumlage nach Durchdringung der Schaumlage durch Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion und nach Härten der Bindemittel/Mikrokügelchen Dispersion angefügt ist, und die Kopfleiste ist an eine Unterseite eines Daches eines . Vehikels mit der Lage, ausgesetzt Sicht durch einen Insassen in dem Vehikel, angefügt.
