Beim winkligen Zusammenführen von zwei derartig ausgebildeten Leisten, wie es beispielsweise der Fall ist, wenn zur Bildung einer Sprosse die Profilleisten im rechten Winkel aufeinander zugeführt werden, ist die Schaffung eines im wesentlichen spaltfreien Überganges aufgrund der kurvenförmig ausgestalteten Oberfläche der Profilleisten mit unverhältnismäßig hohem Fertigungsaufwand möglich. Wird bei den Übergängen unsauber gearbeitet, so entstehen Spalte im Bereich des Überganges, die im Laufe der Zeit verschmutzen; d.h. die Pflege einer derartigen Tür bzw. Fensters wird erschwert.
