Description

The invention relates to a lens hood, which at the same time as Objective protection against soiling of the lens can be used. To this Purpose is in the mount of the lens hood with which it is attached to the lens is installed, a fully closing iris diaphragm, which is in the working position the lens hood can be opened and closed in the transport position. The lens hood itself is expediently made of flexible material berge = so that they can be transferred in a known manner without being removed from the lens the lens can be turned inside out. The lens hood can, however, also be more rigid Design, they are then used for the transport and protection of the lens conversely, is attached to the lens in a known manner. A cup-shaped lens hood made of rigid material with a hinged cover attached to the free face, which allows the lens hood to be closed is already known. This aperture is relatively bulky and can also be because of the hinged lid arrangement Do not design it so that it can remain on the lens when the camera is closed. In Fig. I, the lens hood is in section and in the working position with the iris diaphragm open drawn; In Fig. a, the lens hood is closed and in the transport position shown upside down over the lens.

In the embodiment shown, the lens hood is with the thread attachment i in the lens: 2 screwed. The mount of the lens hood contains the iris planar 3, which in a known manner on the one hand in the mounting part i and, on the other hand, are held in the adjusting ring 4. By means of the over the edge of the frame protruding handle 4a, the ring can be rotated centrically, whereby the iris lamellae close or open. The actual lens hood 5 can during transport the camera can be turned inside out in the version shown with the lens hood, after the iris diaphragm is closed.
