The toothbrushes in a household may be at least partially uniform and/or of the same color and therefore cannot be distinguished from one another at first glance. Such a distinction is not easy, especially for children, so that the toothbrushes may be mixed up, with the associated loss of hygiene.

The innovation is based on the idea of designing a toothbrush in such a way that it differs from other toothbrushes that may be of the same shape and/or color.

The task posed is solved as follows.

The toothbrush is provided with a marking area which is at least partially firmly attached in the area of the handle or shaft or on the back of the bristle holding area or is designed as an attachable molded part.

The more detailed features of the marking device for toothbrushes are set out in claim 1. The marking device is further developed or alternatively designed by additional measures as mentioned in the subsequent claims.

This shows a toothbrush with the bristle trim 4, the bristle holding area 3 and the handle 2. At the handle/stem end 5, which is opposite the bristle trim 4, a shaped piece 7 manufactured separately from the handle/stem 2 is attached as an identification device 1, which is here, for example, attached to the handle/stem end 5 with its fastening area 11. Between the shaped piece 7 and the bristle trim A is the holding or gripping area 12 intended for the end, so that the bristle trim 4 and the shaped piece 7 can protrude to the right and left of the closed hand or the hand made into a fist when the toothbrush is used.

The molded piece can be offered on the market in a variety of different colors or spatial designs. The toothbrushes with the handles/stems protruding from a toothbrush mug, for example, can therefore be distinguished immediately based on the different molded pieces.

A further advantageous embodiment of the molded part 7 or the marking device 1 is provided with a receiving or field area 8, which can be marked, for example, using waterproof writing utensils (pens, etc.). This makes it possible, for example, to attach a child-related note to a toothbrush such as "This toothbrush belongs to 'Name*" or "Brushing teeth is fun", which increases the joy and pleasure of daily dental care and thus reduces the risk of dental disease.

The molded piece is further designed to be child-friendly, preferably with a figure, particularly from the world of fairy tales, comics or fantasy, or a part of the figure, for example the head, head-neck, head-neck-shoulder area.

However, it is also conceivable that marking devices could be designed in the shape of flowers or animals.

Instead of a plugged-on molded piece as an identification device, this can also be attached to the handle/stem of the toothbrush by means of a clamp, snap-in, adhesive or screw connection or a combination of at least two of these connections or parts thereof.

A shaped piece 7 is lifted off the handle/stem 2, which, after attachment, extends with its fastening area 11 into or through the fastening area 11 on the handle/stem 2, which is designed here as an opening.

In the recessed receiving or field area 8, separate marking can be carried out or a marking carrier such as an adhesive film, waterproof paper etc. can be attached.

However, it is also conceivable to have recording or field areas that are flat or raised and, if necessary, provided with a surrounding boundary bar.

Instead of the opening as a fastening area arranged on the handle, material indentations, hollows, other free spaces or protruding material formations are also conceivable, to which the shaped piece can be attached. An alternative design provides a fastening area only attached to the marking device, which acts on a given toothbrush, for example, as a clamping part or clamping connection.

According to an advantageous design of the molded part or the marking device, it does not protrude or only protrudes to a small extent, in particular from the side areas of the handle/stem, so that grasping or holding the toothbrush when brushing is not or only slightly impaired.

According to an alternative embodiment, the marking device can be arranged at least in partial areas firmly on the handle/stem 2 of the toothbrush or can be a component thereof.

According to a further embodiment of the marking device 1, the marking carrier 9 can be covered at this point 8 by an attachable and preferably removable cover part 10.

Finally, a marking device is conceivable, which is arranged on the back of the bristle holding area of the toothbrush.

Due to this measure, the toothbrush with the handle/stem protruding into a toothbrush cup can be recognized and distinguished from other toothbrushes.

The marking device, which can be subsequently attached to the toothbrush, has profile-like and/or relief-like elevations and/or depressions for the purpose of assembly and the necessary grip strength.

Marking device for toothbrushes characterised by the following features: The marking device (1) is designed on the handle or shaft (2) or on the back of the bristle holding area (3) of a toothbrush, preferably in the area of the handle/shaft end (5) opposite the bristle trim (4), at least partially as a fixed handle/shaft component (6) or as an attachable molded part (7). 2.
