Description

Beim Überziehen von langgestreckten Formsträngen aller Art mit flüssigen oder verflüssigten Stoffen, z. B. bei der Lackierung oder Verzinnung bzw. Verzinkung von Drähten, ist es in der Regel erforderlich, durch Abstreifer den Überzug zu vergleichmäßigen oder überschüssige Überzugsmasse abzustreifen. Hierfür sind die verschiedenartigsten Ausführungen bekanntgeworden. Bei der Lackdrahtfertigung verwendet man in der Regel Filzkissen, die federnd mehr oder weniger stark gegen den Draht gedrückt werden. Solche Filzkissen haben aber den Nachteil, daß sie zum Verharzen neigen, .so daß ihre Wirkung ungleichmäßig wird. Außerdem besteht die Gefahr, daß Faserteile mitgerissen werden, die dann Fehlerstellen in dem Überzug bilden. Weiter sind düsenartige Abstreifer aus Gummi oder Metall, wie sie auch vor allem für .die Verzinnung oder Verzinkung in Betracht kommen, bekannt. Solche Abstreifer haben wieder den Nachteil, daß sie nicht verstellbar sind und bei eventuellen Verdickungen. .des Faserstranges nicht nachgeben können, so daß dieser gegebenenfalls abgerissen wird. Die Borsten können dabei radial gegen den Formstrang gerichtet werden, so daß ihre freien Enden diesen berühren, wobei die Länge der Borsten so gewählt wird, daß .die Enden leicht federnd abgebogen werden. Eine solcheAusfwhrung ist beispielsweise in Fig. i und 2 der Zeichnung in Querschnitt und Ansicht dargestellt. Konzentrisch zu dem mit dem Überzug versehenen Formstrang i ist ein Ring 2 angeordnet, in den borstenartige federnde Elemente 3 strahlenkranzartig eingesetzt sind, so daß ihre freien Enden 4 gegen den Formstran@g i gerichtet sind. Die Länge der Borsten ist .dabei so bemessen, daß sich ihre Spitzen berühren, falls kein Formstrang eingezogen .ist.
