Wet wipe wraps made of wound wet wipes connected lengthwise via perforations for cleaning purposes.

The invention relates to a wet wipe roll made of wet wipes wound up in the longitudinal direction and connected to one another via tear-off perforations for cleaning purposes, wherein a container is provided for storing the roll and is designed with a coverable opening for removing a wipe from the roll by tearing it off at the perforation.

It is known to roll up cloths into a roll, whereby the individual cloths are connected to one another but should be separated from one another at the perforations. The rolls are in a container that is used for storage and is therefore sealed from the outside. The container is provided with an opening, for example in the form of a slot or cross slot, through which the inner end of the roll can be passed. By pulling out a cloth and making a sideways tearing movement, the pulled-out cloth should tear off at the perforation point. However, this does not always reliably occur at the perforation point; instead, the roll tears inside the container before the opening. However, if after removing a cloth the beginning of the next cloth does not already protrude outwards at the opening and can be grasped, it is necessary to open the container and feed the loose end of the roll through the slotted opening again.

The present invention deals with the problem of improving the handling of wet wipe wraps in containers. It is particularly concerned with the task of designing a wet wipe wrap of the type mentioned at the beginning in such a way that it can be ensured that, on the one hand, when a wipe is torn off, the separation takes place at the perforation and, in addition, a small part of the subsequent wipe protrudes far enough out of the opening of the container that this wipe can be safely grasped with the fingers for the purpose of removal.

This is achieved by the features specified in the claims.

The non-linear perforation from the edges of the roll ensures that the part of the perforation that extends furthest to the end of the roll always tears first during the tearing process, and the perforation areas that have not yet been cut through tear subsequently. It is particularly advisable to form the perforation with a point by providing two essentially straight perforation parts at an angle to one another, as the tearing process then always begins at this point first.

By gluing the outer end to the second to last layer of the roll, it is easier to insert the roll into the container, as it cannot fall apart or become deformed, which could be a nuisance when removing the wipes later. If the last outer layers of a roll are marked with a line that runs at a relatively small angle to the length, or with another marking, it is easy to see that only a few wipes of the roll are left in the container.

A recess 11 is provided on the upper surface of the container 10, in which there is an opening 12 to the interior of the container 10. The recess 11 can be covered by a lid 14 so that the container (10) can be tightly sealed from its interior to the outside.

In Fig. 1, the end piece 13 of a roll 20 is shown, after the preceding cloth has been torn off. This end piece 13 can be grasped with the fingers.

Fig. 2 shows the roll 20, the inner end 21 of which is passed through the opening 12. From this inner end 21, the cloths are pulled off through the opening 12 in the axial direction.

In Fig. 2, 30 designates two perforations according to the invention, each of which is formed from two straight parts at an extended angle to one another. 22 designates a print or marking that runs diagonally to the length of the roll, namely on the last cloths of the roll 20. It is clear that this marking 22 lets the user know that he is approaching the end of the roll.

Figures 3 to 6 show top views of unwound rolls, which show different forms of perforations. When looking at these perforations, it is clear that when tearing off individual sheets, the cutting begins at the protruding part of the perforation curve (shown in the figures to the right, i.e. in the direction in which the roll is unwound). Once the tearing process has begun from there, it continues without further ado towards the edges. This leads to a perfect removal of individual sheets, so that the end piece 13 of the roll shown in Fig. 1 always protrudes outwards through the opening 12 and can be easily grasped and pulled off.

Protection claims 1. Wet wipe/roll made of wound wet wipes connected to one another in the longitudinal direction via tear-off perforations for cleaning purposes, wherein a container is provided for storing the roll and is designed with a coverable opening for removing a wipe from the roll by tearing it off at the perforation, characterized in that the perforations (30) are not formed in a straight line from the edges of the roll (20), preferably by means of two straight lines aligned at an angle to one another. 2. Wet wipe roll according to claim 1, characterized in that the outer end of the roll (20) is glued to the penultimate layer of the roll. 3.
