Verfahren zur Herstellung von höhermolekularen Additionsprodukten aus niederen Olefinen und Kohlenoxyd Es wurde die überraschende Feststellung gemacht, daß Äthylen und seine niederen Homologen, wie Propylen, mit Kohlenoxyd höhermolekulare ölige bis hochmolekulare kautschukähnliche Verbindungen liefern, wenn man die Komponenten, gegebenenfalls in Gegenwart von Katalysatoren, bei Drucken von etwa 400 atü und aufwärts und bei knapp unterhalb 25o° liegenden Temperaturen aufeinander einwirken läßt. Dieses Ergebnis ist überraschend, da gemäß dem Stand der Technik aus den genannten Ausgangsmaterialien unter weniger energischen Bedingungen nicdrigmokkulare Oxy- und Oxoverbindungen entstehen. Die Umsetzung der beiden Komponenten im Sinne vorliegender Erfindung läßt sich bereits ohne Zusatz von Katalysatoren durchführen. Die Eigenschaften der Reaktionsprodukte kann man durch Katalysatoren beeinflussen. Als Katalysatoren kommen z. B. solche in Frage, die die Olefine, und solche, die das Kohlenoxyd zu aktivieren vermögen.
