Die mit der Erfindung erzielten Voftoile bestehen insbesondere darin, daß durch die neue Orthese eine Abstützung des Fußes seitlich und gleichzeitig im Bereich des Fußlängsgewölbes erreicht wird. Bei Belastung bewirkt die 5 Orthese eine besondere Stabilisierung der Bereiche von Innen- und Außenknöchel. Die Orthese kann als Gipsersatz oder zur Abkürzung der Gipsbehandlung bei den verschiedensten Verletzungen des Fußes - auch nach operativ/eh Eingriffen - verwendet werden.
