Armbandbracelet

Die Neuerung betrifft einen Gegenstand nach dem Oberbegriff des Anspruchs 1.The innovation relates to an object according to the preamble of claim 1.

Armbänder sind in vielen Ausgestaltungen bekannt. Die Neuerung stellt sich die Aufgabe, ein Armband aus einem flexiblen Flächengebilde zu schaffen, das auf der Innenseite mit einem nicht flexiblen, nach Mohs- und Brinellwerten härteren Flächengebilde unterlegt ist, dessen Ränder so gebördelt sind, daß sie die Ränder des flexiblen Flächengebildes ein- oder umschliessen (Fig.1 und 2). Hierdurch werden die Ränder des flexiblen Flächengebildes gegen Beschädigungen und Abrieb geschützt. Sowohl im E'all der Ein- wie der Umschließung bewirkt das Umbördeln eine erhebliche Versteifung des nicht flexiblen Flächengebildes, sodaß dessen Dicke zur Erreichung der gewünschten oder erforderlichen Steifigkeit verringert werden kann, was zu einem geringeren Gewicht und zu einer Materialersparnis führt.Bracelets are known in many designs.
