Description

The previously known gauze bandages have the disadvantage that they are used when weeping Wounds are moistened so that the lying over the bandage is soiled Items of clothing. There are also bandages known, which the secreted Keep liquids away from clothing. But these are relatively expensive.

The invention has therefore set itself the task of an association for daily treatment of weeping wounds to create of the garments protects against the wound secretions and the ointments, but at the same time cheap and is convenient to use. The invention solves this problem in that the Bandage a moisture-proof layer on the side facing away from the wound possesses, through which the wound is sealed and comes into contact with wound secretions is excluded. According to the invention, the new dressing consists of a layer of gauze, which is placed on the wound. There are several layers of cellulose wadding on top, which soaks up the wound secretions and ointments, while the outside of one Layer of moisture impervious fabric, e.g. B. a thin plastic film, consists. The gauze of the bottom layer grips over the edges of the plastic film around so that the whole thing can be sewn together and get hold.

In the drawing, the dressing for exuding wounds is in one embodiment Fig. 1 shows a plan view of the moisture impermeable Layer, and Fig. 2 a section through the dressing.

According to the invention, the dressing for exuding wounds consists of one Gauze layer I, several layers of cellulose wadding 2 and a moisture-proof one Layer 3. These layers are thereby united into a unified whole, that the layers of the gauze layer I lined at the edges and through a Seam 4 can be stitched or bound off.

When applying the bandage, the side of the gauze is placed on the wound, while the moisture-proof layer is on the outside.

Soiling of clothing with wound secretions and ointments is therefore excluded if the bandage is well applied. The manufacture of the new association is very simple, so it can be used in any length and any width as a tie and made in large or small rectangular, square or round pieces can be.
