Zusatz zum Patent 604 049 Gegenstand der Erfindung ist ein Verfahren zum künstlichen Reifen von Zement mittels Preßluft, Preßgas o. dgl. Das Wesentliche der Erfindung nach dem Hauptpatent 604049 besteht in einem Verfahren zum Auflockern von staubförmigem, in Behältern eingelagertem Gut mittels Preßgas, Preßluft o. dgl. Das Merkmal dieser Erfindung wird darin gesehen, daß das gasförmige Druckmittel in un-.endlich fein verteiltem Zustande in den Gutbehälter, Silo oder Bunker eingeblasen wird. Das Einblasen kann dabei beispielsweise an der Grundfläche des Gutbehälters erfolgen, der zu dem Zweck aus leicht luftdurchlässigem Baustoff, wie Filtersteinen o. dgl., hergestellt wird.Process for the artificial maturation of cement by means of compressed air, compressed gas o. Es ist an sich eine bekannte Tatsache, daß fast jeder frisch gemahlene Zement eine geringe Menge freien Kalk enthält und zwecks Ablöschung desselben erst längere Zeit, und zwar mehrere Monate, in geeigneten Silos o. dgl. ablagern muß, bevor er gebrauchsfertig ist. Man mußte den Zement während dieser Zeit der Einwirkung von Luft oder Kohlensäure aussetzen, und es war ein mehrfaches Umschaufeln oder Umfüllen erforderlich, um ihn mit der Luftfeuchtigkeit besser in Berührung zu bringen und zu durchlüften. Es liegt auf der Hand, daß ein derartiges künstliches Altern oder Reifen des Zements außerordentlich kostspielig ist, ganz abgesehen, davon, daß es auch in hohem Maße von der Temperatur der Luft, von der Luftfeuchtigkeit und anderen Momenten abhängt: Demgegenüber besteht die vorliegende Erfindung darin, daß das Gas in unendlich fein verteiltem Zustande durch Filtersteine oder ähnliche Arbeitsmittel in den im Gutbehälter befindlichen Zement eingeblasen wird.
