Abstract

The bag (12) has a an outer jacket defined by a flexible sleeve (11), and a stiff tape (13) fastened to it around its lower section, to support the filled bag on a base (14). The tape is stiff in a direction at right angles to the base, and completely partly supports the weight of the bag. In a second direction at right angles to the first, the tape is esp. elastic under pressu of the weight of the contents. The height of the tape is between 15% and 80%, pref. 30-40% of the height of the bag, and fastene it by heat-welding, a sealed edge (18), or self adhesion.
