Neuerdings haben sich photographische Aufnahmeapparate (Kameras, wie sie unter dem als Warenzeichen gesetzlich geschützten Namen Leica bekannt sind) eingeführt, welche einen kinematographischen Filmstreifen als Aufnahmematerial benutzen. Diese Filmstreifen werden zum Teil auf Spulen in gewissen Längen, welche die Aufnahmefähigkeit einer Kassette nicht übersteigen dürfen, aufgerollt und mit einem Schutzpapierstreifen gegen die Einwirkung schädlichen Lichtes gesichert (Tageslichtspulen), zum Teil werden sie in Rollen beliebiger Länge bezogen und nach Bedarf in Gebrauchslängen von diesen Rollen abgeschnitten (Dunkellichtrollen).Recently, photographic recording devices (cameras, as they are under the are known as trademarks legally protected names Leica), which a cinematographic film strips as recording material use.
