Verfahren zur Herstellung nikotinfreier Tabake Die üblichen Extraktionsverfahren zur Entfernung des Nikotins aus Tabak bestehen darin, daß dieser mit oder ohne Verwendung eines Alkalis mit Hilfe eines flüchtigen organischen Lösungsmittels extrahiert wird. Die Extrakte werden dann nach Abscheidung des Nikotins dem entnikotinisierten Tabak wieder zugesetzt. Bei der Entfernung des Nikotins aus dem Lösungsmittel, meist durch Behancleln mit einer sauren wäßrigen Flüssigkeit durchgeführt, gehen nun mit dieser wichtige Aromastoffe verloren, deren Fehlen nach Wiedereinverleibung der Extrakte in den entnikotinisierten Tabak die Ursache ist, daß das fertige Produkt nicht voll, ausgeglichen und aromatisch schmeckt und riecht.
