Abstract

The rail is designed as a profile (10) with several grooves (11) for the insertion of rollers or sliding elements at its lower side and inclined bridges (15, 16) pointing from the vertical outer walls (17) of the profile (10) toward the center positioned on top (10.1). Several holding elements (20), each assembled of a basic plate and a swivel mounted lever positioned on top of the plate are fixed to the ceiling. A bent extension at the outer end of the lever can be swiveled under one of the bridges (15, 16) in order to attach the profile (10) to the ceiling. A specifically shaped extension (14, 14.1) located along one side of the profile (10) facilitates the addition of a second rail (10).
