Description

Die Erfindung betrifft ein Inlay-Entfernungsinstrumentarium für eine Totalendoprothese mit einer inlaytragenden Außenpfanne.
Sie betrifft ein Operationsinstrument zum Entfernen von Inlays, die insbesondere als Hüftgelenk-Endoprothesen-Innenpfannen aus hochwertigen Kunststoffen ausgebildet sind und in Knochen befe­ stigten Außenpfannen verankert sind.
Bei Verschleiß insbesondere der Hüftgelenk-Teil- oder Totalendopro­ these oder Entzündungen an der inlaytragenden Außenpfanne sind die Inlays zu entfernen.
In der Operationspraxis erfolgt das derzeitig manuell nicht nur sehr zeitaufwendig, sondern mit viel Geschick und Kraftaufwand durch den Spezialisten.
Es ist Ziel der Erfindung, Inlays einfach, zeit- und kraftsparend und ohne Zerstörung der inlaytragenden Außenpfanne und ohne Gewe­ beverletzungen zu entfernen.
Erfindungsgemäß wird das dadurch erreicht, daß mindestens eine nicht endlose Schneide oder mindestens zwei Spit­ zen, die an mindestens einem konzentrisch beweglichen Trägerteil angeordnet sind und dessen konzentrische Bewegung über eine konisch geformte Treibspindel oder über Keil­ elemente erfolgt und somit einen Form- und/oder Kraftschluß mit dem Inlay ermöglicht, und daß das Inlay entweder über eine an sich bekannte gewin­ dewirksame und mit dem Trägerteil verbundene, sich auf der inlaytragenden Außenpfanne abstützende und eine Kraft in Ausheberichtung erzeugende Aus­ hebevorrichtung oder über ein mit dem Trägerteil verbundenes bereits bekanntes Ham­ merteil durch Schlagwirkung aus der Außenpfanne entfernbar ist.
Ausführungsbeispiel
Im Ausführungsbeispiel nach Fig. 1 und 2 sind 3 Schneiden (3) an jeweils einem zugehörenden Trägerteil (2) angebracht, die durch eine konisch geformte und F₁-krafteinleitende Treibspin­ del (5) konzentrisch nach außen und so mit dem halbkugelförmigen Inlay (1) Form- und oder Kraftschluß erwirken. An den Trägertei­ len (2) ist ein bekanntes aber nicht dargestelltes Hammerteil ange­ bracht, womit die Schlagwirkung F₂ erzeugt und somit das Inlay (1) aus der Außenpfanne (4) entfernt werden kann.

Claims (1)

  1. Inlay-Entfernungsinstrumentarium für eine Totalendoprothese mit einer inlaytragenden Außenpfanne, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß mindestens eine nicht end­ lose Schneide (3) oder mindestens zwei Spitzen, die an mindestens einem konzentrisch beweglichen Trägerteil (2) angeordnet sind und dessen konzentrische Bewegung über eine konisch geformte Treib­ spindel (5) oder über Keilelemente erfolgt und somit einen Form- und/ oder Kraftschluß (F₁) mit dem Inlay (1) ermöglicht, und daß das Inlay (1) ent­ weder über eine an sich bekannte gewindewirksame und mit dem Träger­ teil (2) verbundene und sich auf der inlaytragenden Außenpfanne (4) abstützenden und eine Kraft (F₂) in Ausheberichtung erzeugende Aushebevorrichtung oder über ein mit dem Trägerteil (2) verbundenes bereits bekanntes Hammerteil durch Schlagwirkung (F₂) aus der Außenpfanne (4) entfernbar ist.
