Abstract

An emergency signal generator has the size of a wrist watch and is secured using a wrist strap (2). Small battery cells (3) are built into the strap. The unit includes a vibration activated switch which initially activates a blinking LED display. If, after some 15 seconds, the unit is not switched off, a built-in acoustic noise generator (7) is activated. The 15 second period is provided by a timing circuit associated with the watch function. The unit may include a transmitter that generates a signal sent to a remote unit. A receiver may also be included. ADVANTAGE - Provides both r.f. and acoustic noise signals.

Claims
