Verfahren zum Färben von Acetatseide. Es ist bekannt, daß Acetatseide durch Farbstoffe, die an sich nur wenig oder überhaupt nicht in Wasser löslich sind, sich anfärben läßt, wenn man diesen Farbstoffen oder dem Färbebad Fettsäuren oder Sulfofettsäuren oder deren Salze zusetzt. Dabei werden aber die Farbebäder nur bis zu einem geringen Grade ausgenutzt.Process for dyeing acetate silk. Man geht in das so bereitete Beispiel z. ioo g des Farbstoffes p-Nitranilin-azo- -> i-Methoxy-q.-methyl-2-aminobenzol werden unter Zusatz von 6o g p-Toluolsulfamidnatrium und 500 g Seife wie im Beispiel i gelöst. In dem in gleicher Weise bereiteten Färbebad färbt man i o kg Acetatseide bei 6o° C i Stunde lang. Die fertigluolsulfamid, p-Toluolsulfannlid usw., gegebenenfalls unter gleichzeitiger Verwendung von Seife, beim Färben von Acetatseide mit der oben gekennzeichneten Art von Farbstoffen Ausfärbungen erhält, die mit der gleichen Menge Farbstoff eine bedeutend tiefere Farbstärke zeigen. Durch den Zusatz der genannten Verbindungen fallen die Färbungen etwa doppelt so stark aus wie nach dem bekannten Verfahren, die Farbstoffe werden also wesentlich besser ausgenutzt; dieser technische Effekt war in keiner Weise vorauszusehen. Färbebad mit io kg Acetatseide ein und färbt i Stunde, lang bei 6o° C. Dann wird mit warmem und dann mit kaltem Wasser gespült und bei mäßiger Temperatur getrocknet.
