Abstract
Description
The invention relates to a device for vacuuming Flue gases and removal of viruses and bacteria from the Operating field when using laser or high-frequency surgery, that essentially consists of an electric motor driven vacuum pump and several filters that exist in a line system between a suction funnel or the like and the vacuum pump are arranged.
When handling such devices, it is not always possible avoid liquids being sucked up. This one Liquids the filter system, especially a bacterial and virus-clogging filters quickly clog up with them make useless, the invention looks advantageous Eliminate this circumstance, especially a transparent one Collection container for absorbed liquids, e.g. B. blood, slimy secretions or the like in front of the Device in front of a bacteria and virus-retentive primary filter is arranged. Through such a container advantageously achieved that the primary filter after each Operation is replaced during the full operation remains functional.
In an advantageous embodiment of the subject matter of the invention a valve mechanism is provided in or on the collecting container be the line system when the container is full closes so that can not be suctioned off and so indicates that the waste container is to be replaced got to.
According to a further feature, a switch can also be provided be the drive of the vacuum pump when the collecting container is full interrupts.
Finally, the container can be easily replaced be arranged.
In the drawing, the subject of the invention is in one Exemplary embodiment shown schematically.
The device 1 for extracting smoke gases and removing viruses and bacteria from the operating field when using laser or high-frequency surgery is provided with an electric motor-driven vacuum pump to which a line system 2 is connected. In this line system 2 , an intermediate filter protecting the electric motor, an activated carbon filter for reducing odor and an exhaust air filter are connected in the interior of the device, which contributes to the almost 100% filter efficiency. Outside the device 1 , a primary filter 3 is arranged in the line system 2 , which is bacterial and virus retentive. So that this primary filter 3 when sucking liquids, for. B. blood or slimy secretions, is not ineffective, a transparent liquid container 5 is arranged in the line system 2 between the primary filter 3 and the suction opening 4 easily replaceable. In or on the liquid container 5 there is a valve mechanism 6, which the line system 2 terminates with a full liquid container 5, so that it can no longer be aspirated. The vacuum pump in the device tolerates this condition, at least until the liquid container has been replaced. Instead of the valve mechanism 6 , a switch can also be provided which stops the drive of the vacuum pump.
