Description

Die schwerere Flüssigkeit wird darauf mit folgenden festen Teilen (z. B. Zellstoffasern) in einem dritten Behälter (der Faserausscheider) befreit, in dessen oberen Teil ein Sieb angebracht ist, welches die schwere Flüssigkeit passieren muß, ehe sie weggeleitet wird. Vom unteren Teil des Faserausscheiders werden die abgeschiedenen festen Teile dem Diffusionsbehälter wieder zugeführt. Auf diese Weise vermeidet man, daß das feinere Sieb, das zur vollständigen Ausscheidung der festen Teile aus der schwereren Flüssigkeit notwendig ist, ganz oder teilweise verstopft wird bei dem Druck der Masse gegen das Sieb.
