Auf diese Weise wird die größtmögliche Ausbeute des Brennstoffes und die größtmögliche Vermeidung von Wärmeverlusten erreicht. Außerdem kann die Verbrennung auf dem Rost ohne Rücksicht auf Tnöglichst weitgehende Verbrennung des brennbaren Brennstoffinhaltes geleitet werden, da die völlige Ausbeute in dem unmittelbar angeschlossenen Generator geschieht, so daß der Betrieb des Rostes erleichtert wird und günstiger gestaltet werden kann.Traveling grate firing for solid fuels.
