Abstract

A refuse incinerator has an air cooled grate which slides in supports to load the incinerator refuse. The bars (1), which form the grate, are arranged in groups (3), with the bars of each group fastened to each other by bolts. The bars have their upper faces partly covered by a slide plate (6). A second slide plate (7) is fastened to the feet of the bars. The slide plates are made from a material which has a greater wear resistance than the bars. The slide plates have projections (11,12) which fit between the bars. ADVANTAGE - Increased service life.

Description

The invention relates to an air-cooled mounted on cross members Grate covering, especially for feed grates in waste incineration plants, whereby two grate bars arranged side by side each have a flow form channel through the Roststabrücken and its supporting webs is limited and outlet arranged in the grate rod head recesses to the firebox.

Such a rust covering, in which the special shape of the Single grate bar and by packing together to single grate bar targeted air flow is achieved through the DE-PS 37 25 585 become known.

The disadvantage of this known grating that the sliding surface of the grate bars, d. H. the grate bars and grate bar feet strong Wear due to friction and thereby the grate bars need to be replaced frequently.

The object of the invention is a grate of the type described Art to design so that the service life of the grate is essential can be extended.

This object is achieved by the characterizing part of the claim solved.

The inventive design of the grate covering The service life of the individual grate bars is significantly extended because of a optimal material selection can be made. Another advantage is the saving of material because of the proportionate weight ratio the wear plates to the grate bar is approx. 1: 6. Furthermore, the Wear plates can be easily replaced and accordingly Maintenance costs can be kept low.

Es zeigtThe invention will become more apparent from the description and the drawing explained. It shows
