Description
Um eine optimal flächendeckende Erwärmung von Gliedmaßen zu erreichen, sind
die nachfolgend beschriebenen Heizflächen in Manschettenform gearbeitet:
Bild 1 zeigt eine Beinmanschette, welche ebenso um die Arme gelegt werden
kann oder in größerer Ausführung den gesamten Körper umschließt (Bild 2).
Bei verlängerter Gurtverschließung können die Beinmanschetten als Nieren
wärmer (Bild 3) getragen werden. Bild 4 zeigt eine Halsmanschette.
Die Manschetten sind vorzugsweise aus textilen Stoffen oder flexiblen Folien
gefertigt, die Verschlüsse sind herkömmliche Klettverschlüsse, Schnallen,
Druckknöpfe oder Bänder.
Für die Heilbehandlung durch Wärme können die Manschetten durch bekannte
Heizwicklungen aus Widerstandsdraht sowie Heizfolie oder -fasern erwärmt
werden; die Regelung der Wärme erfolgt wie bekannt durch Energiedosierung,
Thermistoren, Thermostaten und Regler.
Um die Manschetten, außer zur Erwärmung auch zur Kühlung erkrankter Körper
teile benutzen zu können, muß statt der herkömmlichen Widerstandsheizung
das Peletier-Prinzip angewendet werden.
Der Peletier-Effekt ist bekannt und soll bei den Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten
genutzt werden insbesondere, weil das Maß der Temperaturänderung abhängig
von der Stromrichtung gut elektronisch dosierbar ist und dem menschlichen
Körper zur Heilbehandlung relativ wenige Wärme bzw. Kälte zugeführt werden
muß.
Technisch sind die Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten durch das Peletier-Prinzip
wie auch durch den Thomson-Effekt durch Thermoelektrizität bzw. elektro
thermischer Kühlung gut konstruierbar, da in engster Nachbarschaft durch
die verlöteten Drähte verschiedener Materialien oder Zonen der Halbleiter
gleichzeitig der Kühl- und Wärme-Effekt auftritt und sich dadurch die Mög
lichkeit anbietet, eine Fläche der Manschetten als Heizfläche und die ge
genüberliegende Fläche als Kühlfläche zu nutzen. Durch die Stromrich
tungsänderung oder Umwendung der Manschetten ist wahlweise die gewünschte
Erwärmung oder Kühlung der Körperpartie möglich.
Zur Wärmeabstrahlung bzw. Kältezuführung können die Manschetten an der
Oberfläche durch Aluminiumkaschierung oder Metallfolienbelag gefertigt
sein. Durch Verwendung von Strom niederer Spannung ist keine Gefährdung
durch Stromschlag bei Defekten möglich.
Im überhitzten Auto bei starker Sonnenstrahlung ist eine Kühlmanschette
in Mützenform (Bild 5), gespeist von der Autobatterie, effektiver als eine
teure Klimaanlage.
Claims (8)
1. Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten zur Unterstützung von Heilprozessen und Ge
sundung des menschlichen Körpers oder einzelner Körperteile durch Zu
führung notwendiger Wärme oder Kälte, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß fle
xible flächige Umhüllungen in Manschettenform um den Körper oder Kör
perteile angelegt oder gebunden werden können, welche sich durch Zu
führung elektrischer Energie heizen oder kühlen lassen.
2. Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
diese sich durch ihre rohrartige flexible Hüllenform rundum manschet
tengerecht über die Körperteile ziehen lassen.
3. Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
diese sich für optimalen Körperkontakt durch Gurtbindung, Gummizug,
Klett-, Knopf- oder Reißverschluß an Körper oder Körperteile anlegen
lassen.
4. Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
diese sich mützenförmig aufsetzen lassen.
5. Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
diese durch Heizdrähte oder Widerstandsmaterial wie Fasern, Folien, Ge
webe oder Bänder elektrisch aufgeheizt werden können.
6. Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
diese sich durch das Peletier- oder Thomsonprinzip durch den thermo
elektrischen Effekt sowie auf Halbleiter und Transistorenbasis mögli
che Temperierung heizen oder auch kühlen lassen.
7. Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
zur Wärmeübertragung Metall- oder Keramikgewebe oder Beschichtung auf
oder in die Übertragungsflächen eingearbeitet sind.
8. Heiz- und Kühlmanschetten nach Anspruch 1, dadurch gekennzeichnet, daß
die Oberfläche der Manschetten aus Riffel- oder Noppenmaterial besteht,
um Transpiration und Atmung der Haut zu ermöglichen.
