Besonders vorteilhaft ist es beispielsweise, die Epoxidharzemulsion mit dem Quarzsand in einem Mischer ca. 10 Minuten zu mischen, worauf die so hergestellte Vergußmasse, die noch leicht feucht ist, verarbeitet werden kann. Die Vergußmasse wird unmittelbar, beispielsweise mittels Besen, in die Fugen eingebracht, und nach dem Füllen der Fugen er folgt eine Verfestigung, so daß bei der entsprechenden Umgebungstemperatur, beispielsweise von ca. 20°C, die Fläche nach 6 Stunden befahr- oder begehbar ist.
