Abstract

1. Ventilation apparatus, more particularly for living rooms, composed of a box-shaped housing (2) formed from two shells (5, 6) and provided with intake and exhaust openings, the installation units necessary for operation, namely an exchangable air filter (8) electric heating element (9) and the blower (10) being arranged in the inner space fo said housing, extending from the intake end to the exhaust end, characterized in that in the opposing surfaces (1) of the flatly constructed housing (2) on each shell (5, 6), is formed half an intake connection (3) and at least half an exhaust connection (4, 4'), the rear portion of the inner space (7) of the housing by a partition wall (12) provided with an air through flow opening (12'), being formed as an accomodating space (11) for humidifiers and/or additional heating elements with at least one exhaust connection (4, 4'), the half parts of the intake and exhaust connections (3, 4') of the shell (5) which can be secured to the wall or ceiling being longer than those of the other shell (6), and moreover a filter insertion slot (38) provided with a separate closure cover (37) is arranged in the shell (6) in the region of the air filter.
