Abstract

Verpackung mit einem Umkarton und darin befindlichem Schlauchbeutel. Der Schlaubeutel (B) hat eine erste Längsnaht (12), die sich ausgehend von der Bodennaht (10) über nur einen Teil der Beutellänge erstreckt. Eine zweite Längsnaht (13) reicht von der Bodennaht (10) bis zur Kopfnaht, die den Beutel (B) dicht verschließt und sich längs an den Rändern der Randstreifen (17, 18) erstreckt, die von der ersten Längsnaht (12) abragen. Nach Abschneiden des oberen Beutelendes kurz unterhalb der Kopfnaht (11) kann der Beutelbereich oberhalb der ersten Längsnaht (12) weit auseinandergezogen und dadurch über den oberen Rand des Umkartons (U), oder den oberen Rand der senkrecht stehenden Verschlußlaschen (5 bis 8) des Umkartons (U) gestülpt werden. Dadurch wird vermieden, daß beim Entleeren des Füllgutes (F) Fremdpartikel (32), die sich zwischen dem Beutel (B) und den Innenwänden des Umkartons (U) befinden, in das Füllgut (F) fallen.Packaging with an outer box and a tubular bag inside. Die Erfindung bezieht sich auf eine Verpackung, insbesondere für schüttfähige Füllgüter, mit einem Umkarton und einem im Umkarton befindlichen Schlauchbeutel aus einer Folienbahn, die an ihren Rändern durch eine Längsnaht verbunden ist, für die Aufnahme des Füllgutes, wobei der Beutel eine quer verlaufende Bodennaht und eine Kopfnaht aufweist.The invention relates to a packaging, in particular for pourable filling goods, with an outer carton and a tubular bag located in the outer carton, made of a film web which is connected at its edges by a longitudinal seam, for receiving the filling goods, wherein the bag has a transverse bottom seam and a top seam.

Bei einer bekannten Verpackung dieser Art (DE-GM 17 45 178) ist der Schlauchbeutelquerschnitt über seine gesamte Länge gleichbleibend. Das Entleeren der Packung muß oft so erfolgen, daß der Beutel während der Entleerung um Umkarton verbleibt. Auch wenn der Beutel wesentlich länger ist als die Höhe des Umkartons, besteht bei der Entleerung die Gefahr, daß in das Füllgut Fremdpartikel gelangen, die sich zwischen dem Beutel und der Innenwand des Umkartons befinden. Diese Aufgabe wird nach der Erfindung dadurch gelöst, daß der Schlauchbeutel in Längsrichtung eine Außenfalte aufweist, an deren äußerem Rand die Längsnaht liegt, daß am inneren Rand dieser Falte eine weitere Längsnaht vorgesehen ist, die zumindest die aneinander anliegenden Innenbereiche miteinander verbindet, wodurch der Umfang des Beutels auf etwa den Innenumfang des Umkartons verringert ist und daß diese Längsnaht von der Bodennaht nur bis höchstens zu den Oberkanten der senkrecht stehenden Verschlußlaschen des Umkartons reicht. Bei einer so ausgebildeten Verpackung ist der Beutel im verschlossenen Zustand vollkommen dicht dank der Längsnaht am äußeren Rand der Außenfalte, die dichtend in die Bodennaht und die Kopfnaht des Beutels übergeht. Nach dem Abschneiden des Beutels unterhalb der Kopfnaht läßt sich der Beutel bis zu der äußeren genannten Längsnaht hin aufweiten und hat dann einen Umfang, der es gestattet, die Beutelwand über die vier senkrecht stehenden Verschlußlaschen des Umkartons oder die Kartonwände zu stülpen. Beim Ausschütten des Füllgutes verbleibt der Beutel im Karton. Die Gefahr, daß Fremdpartikel, wie z. B. Kartonschnipsel, aus dem Umkarton heraus in das Füllgut gelangen können, wird dadurch vermieden. Die Verpackung läßt sich mit geringem zusätzlichen Aufwand an Folienmaterial herstellen. Durch die Längsnaht 12 (siehe Fig. 8) sind drei Folienlagen miteinander verschweißt, nämlich die Flachseite 16 des Beutels B und zwei Lagen 17, 18 einer Außenfalte. Die Faltenlagen 17, 18 sind außerdem an ihren Rändern durch die Längsnaht 13 miteinander verschweißt. Die Breite b der Außenfalte 17, 18 im Bereich zwischen den Nähten 12, 13 ist ca. 1/3 der Breite der Beutelwand 16. Die Außenfalte 17, 18 erstrekken sich auch in die Bereiche der Bodennaht 10 und der Kopfnaht 11, so daß dort die Außenfalte 17, 18 mit den beiden Flachseiten 15, 16 des Beutels verschweißt ist, also ebenfalls vier Folienlagen aufeinanderliegen. Die Breite b der Außenfalte 17, 18 ist so bemessen, daß sie den Raum zwischen den eingelegten Seitenfalten 14 des Beutels ausfüllen, so daß die Vierlagigkeit des Beutels im Bereich von Bodennaht 10 und Kopfnaht 11 ohne wesentliche Unterbrechung durchläuft.Three film layers are welded together by the longitudinal seam 12 (see Fig. 8), namely the flat side 16 of the bag B and two layers 17, 18 of an outer fold. Dargestellt ist ein Beutel, dessen Umfang ein wenig geringer ist als der Innenumfang des Umkartons, so daß zwischen den Innenwänden des Umkartons und den Außenwänden des Beutels Zwischenräume 21 bestehen. Im Bereich oberhalb des oberen Endes 12 a der Längsnaht 12 wird der Beutelumfang durch die weitere Längsnaht 13 bestimmt. Dieser Umfang ist etwas größer als der Außenumfang des Umkartons U, und zwar auch noch dann, wenn dieser Außenumfang durch die Laschen 5 bis 8 bestimmt ist, die nach außen, etwa parallel zu den Seitenwänden 1 bis 4 des Umkartons U, umgeklappt sind, oder etwa senkrecht zu den Seitenwänden 1 bis 4 des Umkartons U stehen. Der Beutel B enthält Füllgut F bis knapp unterhalb der Oberkante 22 des Umkartons U. In diesem Bereich wird der Beutelumfang, wie gesagt, durch die weitere Längsnaht 12 bestimmt, so daß der Beutel in diesem Bereich unter dem Innendruck der Füllung und infolge Maßnahmen bei der Füllung etwa eine Quaderform annimmt, die in den Umkarton U paßt. Der verhältnismäßig lange ungefüllte Teil des Beutels B wird umgefaltet und liegt oben auf dem Beutel auf. Die Laschen 5 bis 8 sind so umgeklappt, daß sie parallel zum Boden 9 des Umkartons U liegen. Die oberen Laschen sind mittels eines Klebebandes 23 miteinander verklebt, wodurch der Umkarton verschlossen ist.The bag B contains filling material F up to just below the upper edge 22 of the outer box U . Beim Öffnen der Verpackung wird der Klebestreifen 23 abgerissen und die Verschlußlaschen 5 bis 8 werden um ungefähr 270° umgeklappt, wonach sie etwa parallel zu den Wänden 1 bis 4 des Umkartons liegen, oder um ungefähr 90° hochgeklappt, wonach sie etwa senkrecht zu den Wänden 1 bis 4 des Umkartons U stehen. Der nichtgefüllte obere Teil des Beutels wird herausgezogen und nimmt dann die in Fig. 3 gezeigte Lage ein. Der durch die Bodennaht 10, die Kopfnaht 11 und die Längsnaht 13 vollkommen staubdicht verschlossene Beutel wird dadurch geöffnet, daß das obere Beutelende kurz unterhalb der Kopfnaht 11 abgeschnitten wird, z. B. mittels einer Schere 24, wie in Fig. 5 dargestellt. Hierdurch wird eine obere Beutelöffnung 25 geschaffen. Der mögliche Umfang der Beutelöffnung ist gleich der in Fig. 6 gezeigten Kontur aus den geraden Seiten 26, 27 und den eingebogenen Seiten 28, 29 zuzüglich der Breite b (siehe auch Fig. 8) der Außenfalte 17, 18. Der Beutel läßt sich durch Auseinanderziehen der zunächst noch aufeinanderliegenden Faltenlagen 17, 18 so weit vergrößern, daß der Umfang größer ist als der Außenumfang 30 des Umkartons U. This makes it possible to put the upper area of the bag over the upper edge of the outer box U , as shown in Fig. 9, or to put it over the upper edge of the vertical closure flaps 5 to 8 of the outer box U , as shown in Fig. 11. The area of the bag that is put over is designated 31 .

Als Fremdpartikel sind in der Zeichnung Kartonschnipsel 32 dargestellt, die dank der Umstülpung 31 nicht mehr aus dem Zwischenraum 21, der sich zwischen Umkarton U und Beutel B befindet, herausfallen können. Claims

1. Packaging, in particular for pourable filling goods, with an outer carton and a tubular bag located in the outer carton made of a film web which is connected at its edges by a longitudinal seam, for receiving the filling goods, the bag having a transverse bottom seam and a top seam, characterized in that the tubular bag (B) has an outer fold ( 17, 18 ) in the longitudinal direction, on the outer edge of which the longitudinal seam ( 13 ) is located, that on the inner edge of this fold ( 17, 18 ) a further longitudinal seam ( 12 ) is provided which connects at least the adjacent inner regions to one another, whereby the circumference of the bag is reduced to approximately the inner circumference of the outer carton (U) and that this longitudinal seam ( 12 ) extends from the bottom seam ( 10 ) only to at most the upper edges of the vertically standing closure flaps ( 5 to 8 ) of the outer carton (U) .

2. Packaging according to claim 1, characterized in that the further longitudinal seam ( 12 ) extends to the upper edge ( 22 ) of the outer carton (U) .

3. Packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bag length is at least twice the height of the vertically positioned upper closure flaps ( 5 to 8 ) greater than the height of the upper edge of the outer carton ( 22 ).

4. Packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the outer fold ( 17, 18 ) between the first longitudinal seam ( 12 ) and the second longitudinal seam ( 13 ) has a width (b) of approximately 1/3 of the width of the bag wall ( 16 ).

5. Packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the further longitudinal seam ( 12 ) also covers the bag wall ( 16 ).

6. Packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bag consists of thermoplastic material, e.g. polyethylene, and all seams ( 10, 11, 12, 13 ) are welded seams.

7. Packaging according to one of the preceding claims, characterized in that the bag (B) is a side-gusseted bag.

8. Packaging according to claim 7, characterized in that the outer fold ( 17, 18 ) has a width (b) which, in the region of the transverse seams ( 10, 11 ), fills the spaces between the four-layer welds in the region of the side folds, so that in the region of the transverse seams ( 10, 11 ), four film layers are welded together essentially continuously.
