Das anfallende Wasser strömt somit jeweils nach außen und wird durch zwei dort angesetzte Ablaufstutzen 5, von denen nur einer sichtbar ist, abgeleitet. In nicht dargestellter Weise ist zur Verhinderung einer Luftabströmung das Ende jeder an den Ablaufstutzen 5 angeschlossenen Leitung mit einem bekannten Lippenventil versehen, das sich dann selbsttätig öffnet, wenn eine bestimmte Wasserstandshöhe erreicht ist. Da diese Höhe stark von den Elastizitätsverhältnissen im Bereich der Lippe abhängt, wobei neben der Materialzusammensetzung und der Materialstärke auch die jeweils herrschende Temperatur einen Einfluß ausübt, kann es vorkommen, daß bei ungünstigen Bedingungen sich Wasser in der Kondenswasserauffangschale 2 ansammelt. Damit in einem solchen Fall keine Unterströmung des unteren Wasserkastens 6 des Heizwärmetauschers 3 und auch keine Beaufschlagung dessen Lamellen 7 mit Kondenswasser bei bestimmten Fahrbedingungen eintritt, ist die wärmetauscherseitige Begrenzungswand 8 der Kondenswasserauffangschale 2 als Schwallwand ausgebildet und parabelförmig hochgezogen.
