Abstract

Verschlußvorrichtung für eine abnehmbare Abdeckplatte einer Gehäuseöffnung an einem Haushaltgerät. Verschlußvorrichtungen für sogenannte Wartungsklappen (12), die zumeist um ein unten angeordnetes Scharnier klappbar sind, haben einen hinter eine Gehäusekante (16) greifenden Haken (17) an einem Arm (1), der mittels eines gesonderten Lagerteils und einer gesonderten Feder schwenkbar und federnd gelagert ist. Diese Teile bereiten bei der Montage erhebliche Schwierigkeiten und erhöhen zudem den Lageraufwand. Die Erfindung sieht daher vor, daß die Schwenkachse (3) in einem einstückig mit dem schwenkbaren Arm (1) verbundenen Torsionsstab liegt, dessen Enden mit der Klappe fest verbunden sind.Locking device for a removable cover plate of a housing opening on a household appliance. Die Erfindung geht aus von einer Verschlußvorrichtung für eine abklappbare Abdeckplatte einer Gehäuseöffnung an einem Haushaltsgerät, bestehend aus einem an der Abdeckplatte angeordneten, zum Gehäuseinneren weisenden, federnd schwenkbaren Arm, dessen hakenförmiges Ende hinter eine Gehäusekante greift und der mit einem über seine Schwenkachse hinaus die äußere Kontur der Abdeckplatte überragenden Betätigungsarm verbunden ist.The invention is based on a locking device for a hinged cover plate of a housing opening on a household appliance, consisting of a spring-pivotable arm arranged on the cover plate, pointing towards the interior of the housing, the hook-shaped end of which engages behind a housing edge and which is connected to an actuating arm which projects beyond its pivot axis beyond the outer contour of the cover plate.

Eine solche Verschlußvorrichtung ist aus der DE-PS 27 23 643 bekannt. In einem der dargestellten Beispiele ist der federnd schwenkbare Arm mittels einer Verlängerung über seine Schwenkachse hinaus direkt fest an der Abdeckplatte eingespannt. Die Federwirkung muß im Werkstoff (vorzugsweise Kunststoff) des Arms selbst aufgebracht werden, dessen Querschnitt in der Nähe der Schwenkachse nocht leicht geschwächt ist. Die für die Aufgaben als Verschlußelement erforderlichen Werkstoffeingenschaften lassen sich bedauerlicherweise nicht mit den gewünschten Federungseigenschaften in Übereinstimmung bringen, so daß dieses Beispiel keine optimale Gebrauchstauglichkeit aufweist.Such a locking device is known from DE-PS 27 23 643. Die Verschlußvorrichtung in Fig. 1 besteht aus einem einstückigen Kunststoff-Spritzteil, dessen schwenkbarer Arm 1 mit dem Betätigungsarm 2 einen gestreckten Winkel bildet. Diese beiden Arme werden in Höhe der Schwenkachse 3 beidseitig von je einem Torisionsstab 4 gehalten, dessen Ende 5 mit angespritzten Nieten 6 versehen ist. Das Gehäuse 9 besteht im wesentlichen aus einem Schrankkörper mit einer daran schwenkbar verbundenen Vortür 10. Im sockelnahen Rücksprung 11 des Schrankkörpers ist noch die ebenfalls zum Gehäuse zählende Abdeckplatte 12 angeordnet, die nach vorn mit einem Aufbau 13 in ihrer Tiefe bis zur Frontebene der Vortür 10 hin vergrössert ist. Im sockelnahen Rücksprung des Schrankkörpers befindet sich die Gehäuseöffnung 14, die von der Abdeckplatte 12 verschlossen werden soll. Oberhalb der Gehäuseöffnung 14 befindet sich im Blech des Schrankkörpers zumindest ein Durchbruch, der mit einem Kunststoffrahmen 15 eingerahmt ist. Er definiert die Gehäusekante 16, hinter die der Haken 17 des um die Schwenkachse 3 schwenkbaren Arms 1 greift. Nach vorn ist der schwenkbare Arm 1 zu einem Betätigungsarm 2 verlängert, der auf seiner Oberseite als Drucktaste 18 ausgebildet ist. Diese Drucktaste ist in Verschlußstellung und bei geschlossener Vortür zwischen der Vortür 10 und dem Aufbau 13 der Abdeckplatte versteckt.Such a locking device is shown in Fig. 2 in the installed state in a vertical section through part of a household appliance housing. Claims

1. Locking device according to claim 1, characterized in that together with the end ( 5 ) of the torsion bar ( 4 ) a spring arm ( 7 ) is firmly connected to the cover plate ( 12 ), the spring tongue ( 8 ) of which rests against its internal tension on the front side of the housing ( 9 ) in the locking position.
