Abstract

1. Electric hotplate with a hotplate body (12) and a lower cover (24), as well as an insulating piece (51) projecting from the cover for the passage or the electric hotplate connections (58, 81) through said cover, thermally stably insulated, flexible leads (58), which are sufficiently long for arranging the connecting piece (75) thereof outside the area of the electric hotplate (11) lead to a common, freely movably arranged connecting piece (75) and the ends (90) of the flexible leads (58) are constructed for insertion in a connection socket (91, 105), characterized in that the connecting piece (75) has retaining means keeping the ends (90) of flexible leads (58) aligned parallel to one another in the manner of connecting pins or lugs and that the ends (90) project through the connecting piece (75) and out of the latter on the connection side thereof.
