Desweiteren ist es bekannt, die Enden der Brillenbügel mit elastischen, halbkreisförmigen Fortsätzen zu versehen, die, während des Tragens, direkt an der Rückseite der Ohrmuscheln anliegen und das Ohr zumindest zur Hälfte umgreifen, daß so die Brille sich nicht unbeabsichtigt lösen kann. Diese Länge weisen auch bekannte Bänder oder Schnüre auf.
