Description

There are currently two types of training pools for animals, especially horses.

1. Variant: Stationary horse swimming pools constructed in solid construction similar to outdoor pools

These are characterized by high land consumption, very high production and maintenance costs and an enormous consumption of

Fresh water.

The journey to these swimming centers can only be expected of pet owners,

who live in close proximity to them.

2nd variant: Portable training pools for animals especially for horses.

These are characterized by being inexpensive, portable and requiring little space. They also have a water storage tank with a UV disinfection system to save fresh water.

Portable training pools have a spring-damped steel plate with a plastic cover over which the training belt is pulled using an adjustable DC motor. Since this is dampened in its entirety, unwanted counter-vibrations occur, which puts a correspondingly high strain on the joints of the animal (horse) being trained.

Transporting these basins to their destination requires a large truck and a crane, which not only incurs costs but also causes additional damage to the environment.

This is where the invention comes in, the aim of which is to further develop the state of the art in such a way that cost-effective inpatient treatment and convalescence as well as training in water for humans and animals is possible with maximum protection of the body, that the facility can be used in small spaces and can be designed variably according to the intended use. Furthermore, the aim should be to conserve natural, financial and human resources and not pollute the environment.

The solution to the problem was made possible by using a water basin lined with stainless steel, with an inlet and an outlet on both ends, which is adapted to the dimensions of the available space and the respective use during production.

After installing the joint-friendly treadmill and the BioLife water treatment system, fitness training, treatment and convalescence of humans and animals can also be carried out under the influence of water and with constant water treatment (sketches 1, 2, 4 and 5).

The treadmill and the drive are sealed from the water basin in such a way that underwater operation is possible without any concerns while complying with all electrical safety regulations.

Between the concrete foundation and the sliding belt running surface, the maintenance-free, selectively acting running surface damping is integrated into the overall construction in such a way that the joints are protected and the muscles are strengthened (sketches 3, 4 and 5).

Using a control panel installed in accordance with the electrical safety regulations in force, the treadmill can be controlled by a veterinarian or specialist, usually manually or automatically according to a program defined for the specific case.

The treadmill is installed on the concrete pool floor in such a way that it can be moved into a designated area for maintenance and repair work (sketch 2).

Depending on the application, water treatment is continuously ensured and can be determined by the customer using commercially available systems. The system shown (sketch 1) is already protected by patent no. 19545287.4/09 and the application has been agreed with the owner.

Application:

Hydrotherapy has long been proven to be effective in treating illnesses and injuries to the musculoskeletal system.
