Durchaus denkbar ist, daß bei Anwendung der vorgestellten Hyperextensionsorthe, wenn diese unmittelbar am Körper angebracht ist, bei einer Vorwärtsbewegung, d. h. beim Beugen, sich diese Sternalpelotte durchaus nach unten verschieben kann, allerdings ist ein Zurückgleiten der Sternalpelotte, wenn der Körper wieder aufgerichtet ist, kaum realisierbar, da infolge der Haftung der Zunge in der Gleitschiene die Sternalpelotte in der nach unten gedrückten Position verbleibt, somit eine Stützung des Brustbeines im aufgerichteten Zustand des Körpers nicht mehr gegeben ist.
